photoblog image Watch it...

Watch it...

B&W version of the facade of a watch shop in Innsbruck, Austria. Makes a nice change from the conventional shop front.

Fantastic shot. Great lines and patterns. Love this one and it is a likey.
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Thanks Kathryn - I like the texture that the B&W treatment seems to give the wood.

This works very well too, but I think I like the color version a little better.
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Really appreciate your comments Martin.
So graphic ! I love the angle of view and the mono works well.
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Thanks so much Florence.

This version works better for me than the colour one previously - good image, my sweet, although I think I saw it first....
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Thank you and although you may have seen it first when it came to the draw of the camera I won!
I think I like this even more than the colour version. The blocks seem to hover away from the window/wall. (:o)
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Thanks Rosalyn - I'm prefering the B&W version.

I would rather have this one than the colour version, it just seems to give more if you know what I mean.smile
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Thanks Tracy - I think the B&W version wins hands down!

Ah!, you've got me coming over all nostalgic. My favourite village in the world is just 20 miles along the valley, and I loved shopping in Innsbruck! Must go back v. soon!smile Great image, and yes, B+W works better!
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Nothing wrong with a bit of nostalgia David. So what's the name of this village?
I know what you mean about the B&W version, but they are both effectively monotone, so I like them bothsmile
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Thanks Nigel - glad you like them.

Lovely perspective, my kind of subject!!

Focus seems to be on the one leaving the frame rather than perhaps on one of the ones on the vertical third...just a thought.
Bernie from Stoke-on-Trent: Thanks Simon - looking at it more closely I think you're right about the focus. Oh well maybe I'll have to take a trip back there to shoot it again!
