We did it! Sorry for the lack of recent Shutterchance postings - not enough hours in the day lately. Anyway, I thought I'd just let you know that my two sisters and myself completed the Race for Life in brilliant sunshine in Hampstead, London yesterday. Thank you for all your words of encouragement and support and a very big thank to all those who have sponsored us. And just in case anyone would like to donate you can still do so at http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/mcdooncaha Many thanks Bernie, Mary and Rosie

From 1841 until 1999 there was nothing on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, London however, now it is the location for contemporary art works which are commissioned specially from leading artists and housed on the plinth for up to two years. The current work on display is Thomas Schutter's sculpture 'Model for a Hotel 2007'. It is an architectural model of a twenty-one storey building, constructed in specially engineered red, yellow and blue glass. To read more about the Fourth Plinth project see http://www.london.gov.uk/fourthplinth/index.jsp http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/mcdooncaha
